Video Translation Checklist

Hello, and welcome to our Video Translation Checklist.

Hopefully, if you are here, it is because you are interested in donating your voice to our project, in which we hope to have 81 different people reading the chapters of the Tao Te Ching as we have translated them.

If you’re on board, follow the steps below.

Step 1:

Below you will find a complete list of the translations. Please scan through and pick one that you enjoy. Remember that those highlighted in red are unavailable.

Step 2:

Simply record yourself reading your selected chapter into a portable recording device (like the one pictured above) or the microphone on your computer. If you’re unsure of how to read it, see some examples on our YouTube page.

Step 3:

Send us the file at nothingjustis@gmail.com with the subject line: “Video Tao”. Also, if you wish to receive credit for your voice, please let us know your name. If you want us to link to your web-site or blog, please send that along as well.

Step 4:

We will painstakingly craft a video to accompany your reading and post the finished product on the site. Just like that, you will have made internet history.
